TMR Elementary Schools
The photos of Algonquin and Carlyle have been copied from the site of the MHRS class of 1959. Lyn Deadman, was kind enough to provide the photo of Dunrae Gardens. (Thanks, Lyn!) Clicking on the Algonquin, Carlyle and Russell images will link back to the pages where the images appear.
Algonquin was the only single-storey TMR school. Several people in our MRHS class of 1964 were in the Grade 1 classes that moved mid-year from Carlyle to Algonquin when Algonquin first opened. Similarly, many classmates moved from Dunrae and Carlyle when Russell opened.
