Bill Falls
After high school, I got into flying & picked up my commercial license in 1966. I got married in 1969 and headed to Calgary to do some bush flying to build up hours with the hopes of joining a large airline. In mid-1970 during an eye examination I got told I needed glasses which is the kiss of death to getting into a large airline—if you're already in and need glasses you're okay. That summer I quit flying and joined Dow Chemical Canada Inc in sales/marketing. I ended up completing a business degree at night and stayed with Dow for a little over 30 years in a number of positions across Canada before retiring in 2000.
I've spent a lot of years skiing, so moving to Whistler upon retirement was a natural.
I've been married a couple of times—practice is good. I am currently single but living with a great lady who loves the outdoors as much as I do.
My passions are skiing, hiking, biking, golf and travel.
