Donna Hellstrom Asher
August 1, 1947–October 19, 2023
Donna Hellstrom Asher passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 19, 2023.
She will be missed by her daughters, Erin & Heather; her son-in-laws, Ian & Paul; her grandchildren, J.J., Noah, Jackson & Peyton; her siblings, Derek, Sally and their families; countless cousins and friends.
She is reunited with her beloved husband, John; they dance together once again as they celebrate her homecoming.

Donna's younger sister, Sally Hellstrom Puklicz, kindly sent us some information about Donna's life after graduating from MRHS and a couple of photos:
After graduating from MRHS, Donna went to the Mother House and then worked at Industrial Acceptance Corporation in TMR for several years.
In 1972, Donna married John Asher, who was also from TMR. They had two daughters: Erin in 1973 and Heather in 1975. They lived in Dollard Des Ormeaux while they brought up their girls. Later, Donna and John had two wonderful sons-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren. Unfortunately, John became very ill with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) and passed away in 1997 at age 50.
Donna was a real sun worshipper. After John's passing away, Donna spent her winters in Florida and her summers at Ste-Anne-des-Lacs in the Laurentians. For the last eight years of her life, Donna lived with her daughter, Heather, and family, in Ontario.
