Jamie Morrison

Greetings to all.

Since I left MRHS, I graduated from Sir George Williams with a B. Comm and then I worked for the Royal Bank three times over a nineteen year period with a brief stint with Miracle Mart in Montreal H.O. While with the bank I was in 22 branches in 3 provinces from Fredericton to Sault Ste Marie. I left the Bank as Manager of Hawkesbury, Ont.

In 1986 we moved back to Fredericton where I joined the Provincial government. I worked for the Dept of Ed. as an auditor, then ran the Provincial farm lending board and then as registrar of Motor Vehicles and finally as Director of Treasury for the Province from which I retired in 2007. Boredom set in so I now have a little job (2 days a week) as manager/Sec of the New Brunswick Blueberry agency. (Fun and flexible).

On a stay in Fredericton I met my wife Lynn Wellner. We have been married for 36 years and have 4 children. Natasha is married with two children and is Principal of a school here. James is in Calgary working for a software company. Ryan is in Ottawa working for Everest College and Mike is in Calgary with the University of Calgary.

On a personal note, health is good after two bouts with cancer and life is good. Have been doing a lot of travel over the years both with work and personally—to Europe, Caribbean, States, Canada Africa and Korea. This year James, Ryan and I are going to the Soccer World Cup in South Africa in June, and Lynn and I are heading to New Zealand in the Fall.

We have been very lucky to acquire a house on the river in Fredericton. I still have the family cottage near Mont Tremblant but do not get there very often. Mum is still in Montreal as is my brother Ian. Bernice (married to Russell Sharp) just moved to Winnipeg last week. My other brother Bill is here in Fredericton as well. Mostly spend time on the property and still referee hockey (100 games so far this year , but who'e counting?).

If you get a chance, drop a line to say hi.

Jamie
