Gordon Douglas Scott
July 4, 1945 — Sept. 5, 2024

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on September 5, 2024.

Beloved husband of Carol. Dear father of Rob and Shane. Proud grandfather of Grayson and Maggie. He will be dearly missed by his family, many cousins and friends. His memory will be forever held in our hearts.

Thank you to the nurses, Dr. Lindsay MacMillan and Dr. Nancy Bozak for their compassionate care.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation at www.huntsvillehospitalfoundation.ca.

I moved to Toronto in 1965 , where I worked in the finance business for 7 years before joining the TD Bank where I spent the next 33 years. I retired in 2005.

I am married, with two boys, Rob, who is 36, and Shane who is 32. We spend the summers golfing, and the winters snowmobiling.

Carol and I head to Ormond Beach, Florida, every year, where we spend March and April. Our home in Florida is across the street from classmate Bob Milne and his wife Pat.
