Dear friends and fellow graduates,
Hello! Much thanks to John for putting up his interesting web site.
Since 1970, I have been married to the political philosopher Susan Meld Shell. Our children are Hanna Rose and Jacob Adam. We live in Cambridge and on Grand Manan.
I am Professor at Harvard University. The Torch (1964) predicted that I would end up at Harvard. On the web there’s a good deal about my professional life.
Two of the books I have written include anecdotes about our high school. David Caplan, Michael Krashinsky, Rhona Prupas, Steven Springer, and Elyse Vaintrub have their roles to play in Stutter and in Polio and Its Aftermath. Some of the essays I have written are also on line.
